EINA and CICAT Promote Training in Illumination
We are pleased to announce a collaboration between Eina, the CICAT Cluster, with the participation of Asselum as an additional project partner. The project is part of the Master’s Degree in Space Design (MUDE). This alliance allows transforming the subject of light into a practical #Workshop, where students can learn directly from leading professionals in the sector.
Expert Participation in the Workshop
The course, which will be held in November and December, will be attended by leading lighting experts who will share their knowledge and experience:
- Marc Ballbè from Asselum, who will present the secrets of light.
- Laura Grau from Vibia will offer a practical experience in lighting design.
- Adrià Huguet-Ferran of KUMUX, who will address the materiality of light and its impact on spaces.
- Susana Barea Anguita from Nexia Lighting, who will open her showroom for a direct experience with the products.
- Sergi García from OLFER Electrónica, who will teach tools for controlling and mastering light.
- Eduardo Cunillera Pico from FREPI Lighting, who will offer a hands-on experience in his showroom.
Programme Coordination and Approach
This programme, coordinated by Àfrica Sabé, seeks to enrich students’ training through practical and theoretical workshops on lighting concepts. The collaboration between Asselum and EINA also aims to promote the training and dissemination of these concepts, offering students a complete learning experience that integrates theory and practice.
On Thursday 17 October Asselum started the workshop by presenting the basics of light and colour and how to measure lighting performance with measuring equipment.
