Portable Lux Meter GOSSEN
MAVOLUX 5032 B USB

The GOSSEN MAVOLUX 5032 B USB is a professional portable lux meter characterized by its high class B accuracy. This luminance meter is mainly used for certification and inspection applications. An additional measuring range with a high initial sensitivity of 0.01 lx allows to measure extremely small light intensities. This even allows a reliable measurement of emergency lighting.
After pressing the HOLD key, the measured value is stored in the memory and the illumination of the screen included with this version is activated, which allows the screen to be read in dark environments. The adaptation to the sensitivity of the spectral brightness of the human eye V (λ) is highly accurate with a minimum deviation of only f1 ‘<3%.
Both variants can be used as unclassified luminance meters with the help of an optional luminance accessory with an acceptance angle of 15 °.
The luminance is measured in candles per square meter (cd / m²) or footlamberts (fL), and defines the perceived brightness of a backlit or reflective surface.

Luminance is measured in candelas per square meter (cd/m²) or footlamberts (fL), and defines the perceived brightness of a backlit or reflective surface.

Características

Measurement of illuminance according to Class C in lx or fc in accordance with DIN 5032-7, IEC 13032-1 Appendix B, and CIE 69.

The accuracy is ±3% ±1 digit of the reading.

High initial sensitivity and resolution of 0.01 lx / 0.01 fc up to illuminance levels of 199,900 lx / 19,990 fc.
The spectral sensitivity of the silicon photodiode is color-corrected and corresponds to the spectral luminous efficiency of the human eye V(λ).
The luminance of a flat surface is proportional to the cosine of the angle of incidence of the light.
