Pour une pr\u00e9diction raisonnable de la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie potentiellement germicide, nous devons garantir des mesures correctes et surtout une distribution spatiale. Marc Ballb\u00e8, directeur technique d&rsquo;Asselum Luminot\u00e8cnics, S.L. expliquera la complexit\u00e9 de cette t\u00e2che et montrera comment l&rsquo;utiliser correctement pour des r\u00e9sultats significatifs et reproductibles.<\/p>\n<p>Les applications dans la d\u00e9sinfection d&rsquo;agents pathog\u00e8nes avec des sources de rayonnement UVC se sont av\u00e9r\u00e9es efficaces dans de multiples activit\u00e9s. Souvent, les sources de rayonnement choisies ont \u00e9t\u00e9 des lampes \u00e0 mercure basse pression gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur \u00e9mission spectrale \u00e0 253,7 nm, tr\u00e8s proche du pic de sensibilit\u00e9 maximum de l&rsquo;ADN et de l&rsquo;ARN [1]. La technologie UV Led n&rsquo;est pas encore entr\u00e9e en vigueur en raison de sa faible efficacit\u00e9, mais on s&rsquo;attend \u00e0 ce que dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es, ses performances augmentent consid\u00e9rablement et deviennent le choix lors de la conception d&rsquo;\u00e9quipements de rayonnement UV. La plupart du temps, des mesures ponctuelles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;installation d&rsquo;\u00e9quipement elle-m\u00eame \u00e0 son emplacement habituel, plut\u00f4t que dans un laboratoire.<\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es que l&rsquo;on peut trouver dans une fiche technique commerciale d&rsquo;une lampe UV ou d&rsquo;un \u00e9quipement UV complet sont le flux rayonnant (W) (le flux rayonnant est la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique par unit\u00e9 de temps, \u00e0 ne pas confondre avec la puissance consomm\u00e9e) .
